| 1931 | Alfred Neweczerzal buys the first punching machine. Production is in the cellar of an apartment house in Zürich. Various kitchen tools such as Mayonnaise and Creme beaters as well as toys are produced. |

| 1948 | Foundation of the Collective Company Zweifel and Neweczerzal, »ZENA-Products«. |
| 1951 | Upon leave of one partner, the new One-man Firm, A. Neweczerzal, »ZENA-Products« is registered in the Commercial Register. |
| 1969 | The One-man Firm is changed to a Stock Corporation ZENA AG. |
| 1970 | Production start of the STAR Economy Peeler. It is made only in three pieces. |
| 1974 | Due to tight space conditions ZENA AG moves from Zürich to Affoltern a.A. |
| 1984 | Two new peelers with plastic handle are produced. The RAPID fitted with a steel side knife for gouging out eyes of potatoes, and the SLIM which handle and side knife are completely made of plastic in one piece. |
| 1999 | Improvement of the RAPID handle, new the side knife is of plastic. |
| 2000 | Move in a new office and production building. A further step for the future. |
| 2002 | As supplement to the hitherto existing peelers, two new peelers with a two-side-cutting blade are developed. |
| 2004 | In the year 2004, the Swiss Post created a new series of stamps under the title »Swiss design«. We are very pleased that our original REX design (1947) is shown on the new Swiss stamp. |
| Today | Besides stamped articles, ZENA AG is mainly producing complete vegetable peelers, but also sells peeler blades as semi-manufactured products. Approximately 60 % of the production is exported. |
